FURNITURE CARE & USE INSTRUCTIONS

With proper care and maintenance your new furniture will last a lifetime.

IMPORTANT:  Be sure to protect your piece from heat, moisture, abrasion, furniture polish, or treatments for the first 90 days while the finish fully cures.

Your piece may be cleaned with a warm, soapy, damp cloth any time after purchase. To remove dust, we suggest a soft, clean cloth. After the finish is fully cured (90 days), you may use high quality non-silicone and non-citrus polishes periodically.

Our durable finish has been tested to resist damage from common spills such as water, alcohol, and other liquids, but spills should be wiped up as quickly as possible.

We suggest the use of placemats, pads, and coasters to protect the finish from heat discoloration easily caused by hot items. Placemats may also be needed under plates and trivets to safeguard from food heat. For ultimate dining table protection, we suggest the use of a full table pad with a heat barrier.

We recommend using a blotter or notepad when using your product's surface for writing. Pressure from a pen or pencil may cause permanent, irreversible damage.

Our carefully crafted solid wood pieces, including table tops, will naturally expand and contract with the seasons and joints may gap depending on the humidity. Protect your heirloom furniture against extreme temperatures from weather, fireplaces, or even heat ducts to prevent unwanted cracks, swelling, and premature aging.

Direct sunlight or light exposure naturally changes the color of wood over time. Lighter finishes are vulnerable to wood darkening. We suggest moving décor resting on your piece around periodically to keep silhouettes from appearing.

Our quality furniture is crafted for use and enjoyment by all. “Life marks” will appear with normal use over the years along with the natural changes and a patina finish. We like to think these changes are a result of purpose and love of our product.
